As part of Version One's green initiative and in partnership with The Tree Appeal, Version One has planted 3,500 trees in sustainable forests and in school grounds since October 2006, and within the last year has sponsored the shipping of 50 refurbished computers to African Schools. Liz Ebbrell, Version One's PR Manager, recently visited one of the tree planting sites (West London Academy) with patron of The Tree Appeal, Professor David Bellamy. She also visited the Computer Aid offices, The Tree Appeal's partner, where the refurbished computers are being shipped from.
